One Deep Breath asks to consider our feathered friends. I have many that visit our outdoor feeders. But I have very special companion, Caruso. He will be ten next month.

Oh Jone. I love Caruso Canary. He looks so sweet and quite good for the old man that he is. I had a canary years ago that molted constantly on his head. He was the funniest little bald canary you could imagine, but what a singer.
He looks quite happy to sing for his supper.

Caruso is so adorable Jone!
We will be driving through Oregon to WA after we move but until we unload current house, Dave must work here in Sonora. We will meet, I'm just waiting on the market.
Enjoy camp!
So neat to have your own little feathered friend!
Such a lovely haiku, and what a great name!!
What a wonderful name for a canary!
Caruso's a cheerful looking singer!
Oh, very sweet -- I love little Caruso and your very nice poem!
Very sweet - picture and poem! This made me smile.
Man, that's one big canary. At first glance I thought it was an owl sitting on the floor.
