There is a new blog for weekly haiku: One Single Impression. Two contributors of One Deep Breath decided to take up where it the blog ended. Thank you, Sandy and Andree for stepping up.
The first prompt, "change" is so appropriate.
constant chaos: change
wind shifts, leaves scatter, branches
burst into color
rain pounds windowpane
fingers pound computer keys
words splatter change

The last line is a great finale to what precedes it. The intensity and pace are marvelous.
Thanks for joining in.
I like these
good response
I too love this last line.
i like the sing-song way of the words in the second
Energetic change - nice!!
These are full of movement. Really good
The comparison of rain on windows and fingers on keyboard really hits the mark. Well done.
It's difficult for me to comment on haiku; to know what to pay attention to (I read others' comments to learn that). But I am able to feel rhythms and emotions in poetry. Yours is percussive. Like the raindrops, or the typewriter keys. I enjoyed it very much. It could be a definition of change.
My change is here. Thank you.
the addy may change
but the 'ku spirit remains
souls in short stanzas
i do love the visual of splattering words!!!!!
I got so into the rhythm of your words, I feel recharged.
beautiful movement and sound
So much action in the the poems, and the images they present are wonderful.
That second one will stay in my mind.
They are both delightful. I especially feel the second oen.
I can feel the "chaos" in the pace of the first.
I truly enjoyed all of these. Great job!
