Haiku: Laughter

Today's prompt is "laughter" at One Single Impression. In honor of having my portfolios sent off to the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards on Thursday evening last.

laughter gone many months
brow furrowed in reflection
box gone-chuckle

spring day daffodils
giggle, lift heads toward sun
feet tap, dance a jig

More on the NBPTS soon.

You description of daffodils captures exactly why I love them so! Thanks.

'Spring day daffodils', I love that line.

Me: the first poem. Me soon: hopefully the 2nd poem. What a contrast between the two. I enjoy contrasts a lot; they get me thinking a lot.

Light bringing relief,
Worries gone, brow appeased,
At last: room for laughs,

I can hardly wait for my daffodils to giggle and dance. What a great way of thinking.
